    By accessing or using KidoTech ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Platform. These Terms apply to all users, including teachers, schools, families, and students.

    2. Description of Service

    KidoTech provides an AI education platform designed for K-4 students. Our services include educational video content, interactive lessons, downloadable resources, assignment management, and student progress tracking. The Platform is intended for use in educational settings under adult supervision.

    3. User Accounts

    Teacher and School Accounts:

    • You must provide accurate and complete registration information
    • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
    • You must be at least 18 years old to create a teacher account
    • You agree not to share your account credentials with unauthorized persons
    • You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account

    Student Accounts:

    • Student accounts must be created by authorized teachers
    • Students use a username and PIN system for authentication
    • Student use must be supervised by teachers or parents
    • Teachers are responsible for managing student account security

    4. Subscription and Payment

    • Some features require a paid subscription
    • Subscription fees are billed monthly or annually as selected
    • Payments are processed securely through Stripe
    • You may cancel your subscription at any time
    • Refunds are provided in accordance with our refund policy
    • We reserve the right to modify pricing with notice
    • Failure to pay may result in service suspension

    5. Acceptable Use

    You agree not to:

    • Use the Platform for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
    • Violate any laws, regulations, or third-party rights
    • Impersonate any person or entity
    • Upload or transmit viruses or malicious code
    • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Platform
    • Interfere with or disrupt the Platform's operation
    • Scrape, copy, or redistribute content without permission
    • Use the Platform to harm, threaten, or harass others
    • Share student login credentials inappropriately

    6. Content and Intellectual Property

    Our Content:

    All content on the Platform, including videos, lessons, resources, text, graphics, logos, and software, is owned by KidoTech or our licensors and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without our express permission.

    Educational Use License:

    We grant teachers and schools a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use our content for educational purposes within their classrooms. This license terminates upon subscription cancellation.

    User-Generated Content:

    You retain ownership of any content you submit (e.g., assignment submissions, progress data). By submitting content, you grant us a license to use, store, and display it as necessary to provide our services.

    7. Student Data and Privacy

    We take student privacy seriously and comply with COPPA and other applicable laws. Please review our Privacy Policy and COPPA Compliance Statement for details on how we collect, use, and protect student information.

    • Teachers must obtain appropriate consents before creating student accounts
    • Student data is used solely for educational purposes
    • We do not sell or share student data with third parties for marketing
    • Parents and teachers can request data deletion at any time

    8. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

    THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

    • We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted or error-free
    • We are not responsible for technical failures or service interruptions
    • We do not guarantee specific educational outcomes
    • Our liability is limited to the amount you paid in the past 12 months
    • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
    • Some jurisdictions do not allow liability limitations, so these may not apply to you

    9. Indemnification

    You agree to indemnify and hold harmless KidoTech and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Platform, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any rights.

    10. Termination

    We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time for:

    • Violation of these Terms
    • Non-payment of subscription fees
    • Fraudulent or illegal activity
    • At our discretion to protect our interests or other users

    Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. We may retain certain data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.

    11. Modifications to Terms

    We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or platform notification. Your continued use after modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

    12. Governing Law

    These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of the applicable jurisdiction.
